Experiential Marketing:

Burton US Open of Snowboarding

Result: Partnered with Burton Snowboards and the Burton US Open, one of the most iconic snowboarding brands and events, to reach new and young consumers. Developed a 360 degree marketing plan that created unique and memorable onsite activations:

  • Served warm Clif Bars at the expo and provided Clif Bar mini samples to spectators along the halfpipe

  • Developed an online social contest engaging with the worlds top snowboarders with a $10,000 cash prize leading to a 5%+ engagement rate.

  • Led the production of branded on course elements to drive awareness both in person and through tv and online streaming.

  • Collaborated with sales to execute in store samplings and giveaways at local grocery stores leading to a 20% increase in regional sales.

Junior Jam Presented by Clif Bar: As presenting sponsor of the Junior Jam event, I developed pre-event care packages for all riders shipped directly to their homes, managed video content creation in order to produce a Juniors only highlight reel and produced a post event after party for athletes and parents to celebrate the accomplishments of these up and coming riders.

Challenge: Reach a young and new consumer audience within the winter sport segment to increase awareness and drive incremental sales.
